I provide a free, introductory, "meet the tutor" session for you and your child. At this session you will be able to discuss your child's needs, see some of the resources, and decide whether or not you would like your child to continue.

I offer tailor-made support for your child, providing a programme directly based on your child's needs, and including on-going informal assessment.

I have taught across the age range, and worked as an educational psychologist. I was Teacher in Charge of the Local Authority Language and Literacy Centre, in Woodley, Berkshire, for over seven years, working with dyslexic children. When I moved to Somerset, I decided that it was time to put all this experience to good use and run my own business.

I am married and have three grown up children and I understand the day to day difficulties that children, parents and teachers can experience. I believe that everyone learns better if they are free from stress, so I aim to provide lessons and resources that will encourage your child to have a go!

Your child will be provided with a folder, notebook and computer disk and will use a variety of resources during lessons. Homework will usually be provided and may include the use of a special game for further practice.
